But no matter what way we worship, we want families to be able to worship together in the same place, at the same time. And we're all working together toward the same goal – learning to live and to love like Jesus. And that makes Concordia a place where ordinary people make an extraordinary difference -- for generations to come.
As for DRESS CODE, it’s simple – BE COMFORTABLE. Wear what you’d wear in any other public place in San Diego.
Classic Worship at 8:30am
If you experience God best in a traditional, liturgical worship experience and enjoy singing the ancient hymns of Church, you will want to try the Classic Worship on Sundays at 8:30am. This is the "stained glass" experience in a modern setting.
The classic worship service lasts one hour.
Staffed Childcare is available for children age 6 and under.
FAM JAM at 10:30am
This worship service is designed for parents and children to learn about God together. It's noisy...by design. People of all ages participate ... by design. It's something like you probably haven't experienced before. We believe that we begin a conversation about God's eternal truths that families talk about throughout the week and find ways to live out in the context of everyday life. You will see people serving from ages 5 to 95 and every place in between because we treasure the gifts God has given the church in every season. Join us and experience it for yourself.
The Fam Jam experience lasts approximately 1 hour and 10min.
